 Senior Employment Program

Do you know a Senior who is looking for employment opportunities and wanting to participate in a training program?
This may be the perfect opportunity! The Senior Employment Program offers qualified persons a stepping stone back into the workforce.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Are 55 and older

  • Want to find permanent work

  • Currently unemployed

  • Live in the program-covered counties

  • Meet federal low-income guideline

The senior must meet the guidelines mentioned above and be a resident of the following counties: Bath, Boone, Bourbon, Campbell, Carroll, Clark, Fayette,  Fleming, Franklin, Grant, Harrison, Henry, Jessamine, Kenton, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Nicholas, Owen, Pendleton, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble

Youth Services

(WIOA Youth)

Northern Kentucky CAC’s Youth Services program works with young adults to create a place where they can complete their secondary education, prepare for post-secondary education, gain valuable life and career skills, and secure employment.

While enrolled with the program, participants are encouraged to grow and develop to their full potential and to find their true value. With four different career tracts to choose from, participants can earn their High School Diploma or G.E.D., obtain training and apprenticeships in a construction related field. learn leadership skills, and secure employement. They are presented with opportunities to complete job shadowing, site visits, work experience, internships and college visits.  They will also get to meet with many prospective employers who come to visit our center, and will attend local job fairs and hiring events on a regular basis. Participants are provided with leadership development opportunities, cultural knowledge events, and a family-like environment that respects the young person while challenging them to be their best self and holding them to a high standard of expectation and behavior.  While contributing to the community through service projects, participants learn to see themselves and their community differently.
