About KCC

Kentucky Career Center is the area’s leading workforce development network, specializing in connecting employers with qualified workforce talent and job seekers with career opportunities. Kentucky Career Center – NKY and its operations in our eight-county region are funded by the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (NKWIB) through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA).

While the NKY Workforce Investment Board (NKWIB) sets the regional policy and directs funding for regional workforce programming and initiatives, per federal law and state policy, the NKWIB contracts with an independent entit(ies) to operate the Kentucky Career Centers (American Job Centers) and provide direct workforce services for Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Youth. These contracts are awarded through a competitive procurement process.
